Chad N. Clinton has made a significant and indelible mark in the world of business and the communications industry. As the founder and principal of CNC Entertainment, he is responsible for the company’s overarching direction and public facing image.
With over 20 years of experience as a journalist and communications professional, Clinton leads the strategic planning and execution of all marketing and public relations initiatives, with an eye toward enhancing the corporate and public interest in the CNC Entertainment brand.
Clinton actively oversees company and event publicity, media and talent relations, events, and corporate branding. He also supervises all corporate and business press outreach. In addition, Clinton manages the company’s marketing, creative advertising and digital media, including consumer marketing, promotions, and social media content creation.
Clinton earned a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Howard University. He began his career as a producer with the George Michael Sports Machine at the NBC affiliate in Washington, DC before moving into journalism as a reporter with Dow Jones. After 10 years as a senior reporter and editor, Clinton transitioned into public relations and helped shape the communications department of two large non-profit organizations: the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the American Pharmacists Association.
During a one-year sabbatical away from communications, Clinton oversaw an at-risk youth program designed to help young men and women of color in low income urban areas, who were facing various social, economic and other challenges in their schools and communities. As a result, Clinton has pledged to use CNC Entertainment to enhance social consciousness and encourage our future leaders to see the value of education and feel compelled to take ownership in uplifting their communities and each other.
